Wedding Photography – Mariko & Nelson – Spadina Museum

Aug 2, 2017 | Weddings |

The second I stepped foot on the Spadina Museum grounds – I feel in love. It has this vintage romantic feel to it that just made it a perfect venue for a simple wedding ceremony. The Spadina House is often called “Toronto’s Downton Abbey” and fittingly so. The structures on site are so well kept you would not believe that some were built as early as the 1850s. Mariko and Nelson wanted to use this as a backdrop to seal their lifetime vows to each other in front of their closest friends and family. They held a very intimate ceremony under the shade of a large tree in the gardens behind the main house. I’m very honoured to have been able to witness their special day as a second shooter for Cari Zhu and experiencing this little gem in the heart of Toronto.

Below are some of the highlights from their beautiful ceremony.
